Description: Enjoy North America's largest Scandinavian festival with nine free stages of national-caliber entertainment. Enjoy all things Scandinavian, temping dining choices, dances, shopping and very fun photo opportunities with trolls, giants, Vikings and accordion players. Norsk Hostfest celebrates Scandinavian culture and heritage of the five Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Each nation is represented in one of the halls in which the festival takes place, and each named after their country's capital city. The individual styles of each country's entertainment, food, clothes, art, and jewelry can be found throughout Norsk Hostfest and also in the Scandinavian Heritage Park, the only park in the world representing all five Nordic countries.

With over 1500 participants, this four day event draws in over 40,000 guests to watch a colorful array of regalia, with each bead and feather shown as pride and respect to its culture. The music of drums and singers fill the arena. Audience guests are invited to dance and enjoy the celebration. Special indigenous groups are invited each year to share in the festivities and to showcase their dance, music and culture. A must see event.
