Description: Roscoe Village cheers on the holiday season with its Christmas Candlelighting. Share in the evening's tradition of lighting the Christmas tree and your own candle as everyone softly sings "Silent Night". Complimentary hot mulled cider and cookies are served after the Candlelighting Ceremony. "A Roscoe Christmas" tour offers a glimpse into the 1800s holiday season. Guided tours are available at various times during the afternoon, or enjoy the same tour after the ceremony by guided candlelight. Guests can enjoy strolling carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, complimentary hot-mulled cider and cookies, and many other holiday festivities.

This tour takes you into many of our buildings that date to the early to mid-1800s and hold the secrets of those who lived years ago. In this season, we celebrate all those early Roscoe residents for their hard work, tenacity and love for the village that some have not chosen to leave.
