Description: Don't miss the best fireworks display in the Quad-Cities shot over the Mighty Mississippi featuring live performances, fun activities, food, drinks, and more! This family friendly event celebrating America's Birthday offers plenty of entertainment on both sides of the Mighty Mississippi.
The event is held at Schwiebert Riverfront Park in Rock Island, Illinois and Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, Iowa. Live entertainment provided by the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival. If the fireworks are cancelled due to weather, they will be shot off instead on the 4th of July at 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting) however, on the 4th, there will be no programming in Modern Woodmen Park or Schwiebert Riverfront Park, and LeClaire Park in Davenport will be a ticketed area for the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival.

It takes more than 3,500 volunteers, 650 designers, 3,500 CenterStage entertainers, and 150 Sponsors to make Festival of Trees a time-honored and beloved Quad Cities' tradition. Festival of Trees is recognized as one of the top events of its kind in North America! More than 100,000 people experience Festival annually, making it one of the largest festivals in the Quad Cities.
In 1986, Festival of Trees was created to bring the community together and provide artistic expression. Over the past 27 years, Festival has evolved from a weekend-long event in one room, into an 11-day event utilizing the entire 70,000 square foot RiverCenter complex in Downtown Davenport. The event features over 100 designer trees, gingerbread village, holiday room designs, a North Pole for the kids, 14 special events, and the largest helium balloon parade in the Midwest. The parade takes place the 2nd day of the festival throughout the streets of downtown Davenport and features helium balloons towering 3 stories high, clowns, marching bands, and an appearance by Santa.
