Description: Dig in to one of Food Network's top 10 "All-American Food Festivals" and chow down on tempting tamales at the Indio International Tamale Festival. A Southern California holiday tradition since 1992, the Indio International Tamale Festival features every kind of tamale, along with carnival rides and games, parades, a rock climbing wall, inflatable bounce houses and a kids petting zoo. Come for the best tamales around, and stay for the fun, excitement and tamale judging and eating contests. There will also be Mexican Folklorico Dancing and live music, great for groups, families or any Palm Springs visitor.
